Jessica Durham is committed to providing an exceptional and personalized experience for all of her students and peers both in the classroom and throughout the real estate transaction. Her love of education coupled with a passion for real estate are what drive her to continually expand her Realtor education offerings. She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Boise State University, an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University, Idaho Real Estate Brokers License, and Idaho Mortgage Loan Originator License. Additionally, Jessica is a Certified Distance Education Instructor and is certified to teach most Idaho Real Estate Commission courses at the real estate school.
Over the course of her 15+ year real estate career in the Treasure Valley, Jessica has specialized in a wide array of real estate projects including residential sales, land development, market segmentation and demographics studies, subdivision and property management, and marketing strategy implementation. This experience allows her to bring real world examples into the classroom for reference and learning opportunities for her students.
Jessica is also proud to serve on numerous community and real estate-focused boards and committees in the Treasure Valley empowering her to remain well-connected within the real estate community. Currently, Jessica serves on the Urban Land Institute’s Management Committee as the Idaho Urban Land Institute's Women's Leadership Initiative Chair (2021/2022) and the Young Professionals Network's Board of Directors as the Chair (2021).
A required course developed by the IREC to update licensees on legislative, legal, and hot topics from the year. This course changes annually and the new version is released every July 1.
Required Post License 8 hour course. This scenario based course builds on the skills taught in the sales prelicense courses and is recommended to be taken within the first 1-6 months of licensing.
Post License 4 hour module. This scenario based course is intended to help new licensees identify elements of professionalism, learn the basics of negotiation, and understand the closing process.
Post License 4 hour module. This scenario based course is intended to help new licensees understand the various requirements related to the pricing, marketing, and advertising of real property.
A required broker prelicense course intended to educate licensees on the basics of Idaho real estate license law, broker responsibilities, office supervision, properly maintaining transaction files, and accounting for entrusted funds and property.
A broker prelicense elective course designed to give licensees an overview of the Finance aspect of real estate.
This broker elective course covers the purpose of appraisals, the appraisal process and the different approaches used to determine the value of various types of property. Emphasis will be placed on employing the appraisal process in brokerage practice.
An introduction to the business of real estate for potential licensees. Topics include fundamental concepts and principles, such as agency, contracts, and real estate interests, along with essential license law requirements. This course is 45 of the 90 hours required for real estate licensure in Idaho. It is recommended that this course be taken prior to completing Sales Prelicense Module 2.
